Your Physiotherapy Assessment & Treatment at North 49 Therapy
Your initial one hour assessment will include taking and a physical assessment of the area of injury. During the physical assessment your physiotherapist will carefully analyze any imbalances or deficiencies in your muscles, joints, nerves, and overall movement.
Based on the assessment findings education will be provided regarding the nature of your injury, prognosis and self management strategies. Manual therapy such as manual stretching, joint mobilization, and/or soft tissue release techniques may also be used in conjunction with the self management strategies to maximize the best outcome.
Follow-up appointments are approximately 30 minutes.
