Great News!! We are thrilled that North 49 Physiotherapy has opened its doors to the public, once again. We have taken steps to ensure that our service is above requirements set out by our licensing body and the government of Saskatchewan. We wanted to update you with some of the changes you should expect when you call to book and arrive for your appointment.

Changes to our reception area:

There will be a hand sanitization station immediately when you enter the clinic. Given the size of our reception area and the need for social distancing there will only be 2 designated waiting areas. If these areas are full we ask you wait outside the clinic or in your vehicle.

Unless absolutely necessary, please refrain from bringing family members or friends to your appointment with you.

Please complete a COVID-19 self assessment:

Prior to each appointment we ask that you perform the Self Assessment Screen and provide us the results through either a printed copy, screen shot, or email.

If you answered ‘YES’ to any of the questions, we ask that you kindly reschedule your physiotherapy appointment and follow the recommended steps provided from the Saskatchewan government.

No-contact intake forms:

To reduce contact, you can complete your intake forms completely digitally, or fill them out in advance, at home, and bring them with you to your appointment. Here is a link to our consent forms. You can email them back (but please keep in mind that email is not encrypted, and we cannot guarantee complete privacy of emailed documents). You can also print them, fill them out, and bring them with you to your appointment.

Minimal-contact payment:

To minimize the use of the debit machine pin pad and need for interaction at the front desk, we will ask for your work health benefit policy and ID#’s and/or your credit card information. We will securely hold this information on file for any future appointments. Tap will still be available for debit and credit and a receipt will be emailed to you.

Your physiotherapists will be wearing surgical masks throughout your entire appointment. We ask that you wear a mask or face covering – even if its a Buff or bandana.

Online Therapy:

We will continue to offer our online physiotherapy services. You now have the choice to come in for an in-person appointment or be seen from the comfort of your home. Further information about our online services can be found here.

We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again in person.
